Hepatitis C virus

This virus still holds many surprises, some of them undoubtedly unpleasant up its sleeve. But meanwhile a series of new drugs and interferons are being tested. Retroscreen is proud to work in the EU Virgil network of excellence wherein over 50 laboratories in Europe focus on hepatitis viruses, searching for drug resistance and exploring the effects of new drugs.

Recently we have employed new scientists with experience in the laboratory techniques with hepatitis C, especially the molecular models of infection. We anticipate that this virus will occupy medical and scientific energy in the year ahead.
