Development of the new BioEnterprise Innovation Centre
Queen Mary, University of London is developing a new £30 m BioEnterprise Innovation Centre at its Whitechapel campus with financial support from the London Development Agency and the European Regional Development Fund. The Innovation Centre will be located on New Road, Whitechapel adjacent to Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry.
The Innovation Centre will contribute significantly to the further development of a London 'Life Sciences cluster', providing essential support and laboratory space for early stage bioscience companies. The existing network of world class clinical, teaching and research resources at Queen Mary’s Whitechapel, Charterhouse Square and Mile End campuses will offer exciting opportunities for both healthcare and bioscience entrepreneurs assisting the development and regeneration of the East London area.
We are pleased to
announce that after completion of the Innovation centre in the
summer of 2009, Retroscreen Virology Ltd expects to be an anchor
tenant, continuing its long association with Queen Mary.
