Retroscreen Virology appoints new Chairman

London, 26th July 2007 ... Retroscreen Virology Ltd, Europe's leading contract Virology research company, has appointed Mr John Lyon as its new Chairman.

Mr Lyon was previously Global Vice President at a publicly quoted company on the New York Stock Exchange, and was also Managing Director of its world renowned clinic in Leeds.

Commenting on the appointment, Dr Rob Lambkin-Williams, Managing Director of Retroscreen, said: “John’s appointment is an important step in the development of Retroscreen. His business experience, combined with an excellent scientific and academic background, will be of enormous benefit as Retroscreen develops.”

Mr John Lyon added: “I am looking forward to working with Retroscreen. Since its formation, its excellence in virology coupled with first class science has resulted in them becoming a leading company in the field of virology research, with an impressive client list to prove their expertise.”

Mr Lyon is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Price Waterhouse), a Fellow of the Securities Institute, a Fellow of the Institute of Clinical Research and a qualified Clinical Biochemist, having trained at St George's Hospital and St Mary's Hospital in London.
