Retroscreen announces Senior Management changes and appoints Kym Denny as Chief Executive Officer
Retroscreen Virology Limited, a global leader in anti-viral research, clinical trials and experimental challenge studies, has today announced that as part the continued development and expansion of the company, several changes have been made to the senior management team. After many years of leading the company from both a scientific and corporate perspective (along with Professor John Oxford), Dr Rob Lambkin-Williams has today assumed the full time role of Chief Scientific Officer.
Professor Oxford, the founder of the company 21 years ago, is very pleased to become the lifetime President of the company and to continue as the Scientific Director.
Stepping into the role of CEO is Kym Denny, who has served this last year as Vice President, Clinical Services. Kym has made a significant contribution to developing Retroscreen as the only commercial company routinely conducting human viral challenge studies, and to the marked expansion of the company’s capabilities in this area.
Kym’s appointment demonstrates the Company’s commitment to its future growth and importantly the re-location to a purpose-built, state of the art, isolation facility in central London during January 2011.
